This video is based on five participant-oriented interviews conducted during the September 11th, 2012, Baltimore solidarity action with the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) strike. The rally took place at the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. Several individuals engaged in candid conversations about their views on public education and the Chicago Teachers strike, including Baltimore public school teacher Iris Kirsch, Cheryl Varela, Bill Bleich, Mustapha Aziz, Robert Armenti and high school tenth graders Shamira, Michael Lovo, Cheyenne Threatt, Rodney Moore.

Richard Concepcion is an independent documentary filmmaker/video journalist. He finished his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ateneo de Manila University (1983), Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Film and Electronic Media from American University School of Communication (2010), Master of LIberal Arts (MLA) degree from Johns Hopkins University (2004) and MA in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville (1987).
