Dada Maheshvarananda presents After Capitalism

Global capitalism, based on corporate power and militarism, is destroying our economy, our society and our planet. Economic democracy that economically empowers people and communities allows us to share the resources of the planet for the welfare of everyone. Dada Maheshvarananda is a yogic monk, activist and writer. His most recent book is After Capitalism: Economic Democracy in Action, with a contribution by Noam Chomsky. In 2007 he founded Prout Research Insitute of Venezuela, an independent, not-for-profit foundation located in Caracas, Venezuela, where he serves as director.

Stephen Roblin is a Baltimore-based activist and writer. He is a member of the Indypendent Reader collective and the International Organization for a Participation Society (IOPS). He also teaches a bi-weekly writing workshop for Baltimore's new street paper, Word on the Street. Roblin's writing focuses on US foreign policy towards the Horn of Africa. He has written for ZNet, ZMagazine, Truthout, and other publications.
