Workshop Description:

White supremacy has historically been and continues to be one of the structural violences impeding the progress of liberatory movements. Anarchism's engagement with the racial order has been a mixed bag and thus more work is necessary along this front. This workshop will consist of a brief history of race in North America, an analysis of the structure of white supremacy, and then strategies for antiracist organizing. It is dedicated to the memory of Joel Olson.
