On Monday, November 7th, 2011, M.J. Brodie, President of the Baltimore Development Corporation, met a group of concerned citizens on the steps of the BDC. It was the first public meeting of its kind. Called upon by Baltimore residents, in an open letter: http://anotherbdcispossible.org/ , the writers requested a public meeting with the BDC. Brodie complied.

The meeting was formulated as a space to publicly hold the BDC accountable for practices that many city citizens find alarming.

Representatives from groups: Bmore Local and The United Workers, as well as individuals, like Reverend Heber Brown, addressed assembly.

Brodie has agreed to having following meetings with a delegation of concerned citizens to discuss brought issues with BDC practices.
