The Maryland Historical Society Museum will host s discussion Struggle for Democracy: The Civil Rights Movement in Maryland.  Join students from the National Academy Foundation High School as they present their research on such topics as Morgan State student activism, the 1942 March on Annapolis, the integration of Ford’s Theatre, the desegregation of Hooper's Restaurant, the struggle to integrate Riverside Park's public swimming pool, and other familiar and little-known Civil Rights events. It will take place on Tues., May 10 at 10 AM at 201 W. Monument St.
